Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
Dental 3D cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of radiological equipment used when regular 2D dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient to diagnose pathologies of the maxillofacial and head and neck areas. In our office, we use the latest 3D imaging and software rendering program technologies to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
This procedure requires little to no special preparation and will allow our team to understand in detail your dental status. Every radiograph is read and interpreted for any presence of pathology by our board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist.
