12 Jan Study Club – Radiolucent Periapical Lesions
Great attention has been given to the study of radiolucent periapical lesions to avert possible misdiagnosis of apical periodontitis associated with certain radiolucent non-endodontic lesions! Although, I still see a lot of cases where these apical radiolucencies are fooling us!! Making us think that they are due to pulpal necrosis!
Here is my last story! Mr. Odontogenic Keratocyst is a genius at this! Look at him fooling 3 dentists and being undercover as a “cyst” for 10 years..
No worries! We took care of him.. He is actually shrinking and will be removed permanently from his host in a few months!
